ORIVA and the CSIC will conduct research into the benefits of Olive Pomace Oil for cardiovascular health

ORIVA supports a new study with the CSIC to expand scientific knowledge of the healthful properties of this premium-quality food product.

The study will analyse the influence of this oil’s fat, as well as its substantial proportion of minority components, and their impact on cardiovascular health through the consumption of nutritional amounts of the oil, comparing it to the effects of consuming another commonly used vegetable oil. In this way, the aim is to demonstrate the suitability of consuming Olive Pomace Oil, or any other monounsaturated fat, as part of a healthy lifestyle and eating habits, in direct association with the Mediterranean Diet.
